Functions of modern television: broadcasting of the Russian model on the example of the TV channel "Russia-1"

The article on the example of the program policy of the TV channel “Russia-1” reveals the functions of television, which have become a priority at the present stage of development of journalism. It is pointed out that currently the most popular functions of the Russian television are entertainment and propaganda, while information, educational and other functions are either replaced by the above or are implemented in a small volume.
