Functionalism as an explanatory principle of consciousness

In this article, the author analyses phenomenal features of the human psyche. In accordance with the constructive-critical self-reflection of the activity category in the focus of its coherence with the modern research programs it examines separate aspects of functionalism, which is one of the most respectable approaches to explaining the consciousness. It suggests the conclusions regarding the ambivalence of subjective characteristics (qualia) within the boundaries of its socialization and physiological factor, which deconstruct as the basis of possible dispositions of «conscious acts» of behavior.
