Functional activity of serotoninergic system in rabbits under the influence of aeroions

The authors studied the effect of aeroions on functional state of serotoninergic system in rabbits. The dynamics of amounts of serotonin, dextrose, hemoglobin, activity of monoaminooxidase, alanine- and aspartataminotransferase, succinatdehydrogenase in blood and tissues of different organs and also heart rhythm and respiratory activity, body's temperature in animals after single aeroionization during one hour. It was shown, that under the influence of aeroionization the functional activity of serotoninergic system and intensity of serotonin synthesis increase that suggest about activation of trophotropic system and enhancement of tissues requirement in serotonin. The increase of serotoninergic activity is accompanied by appropriate shift in metabolism intensity, energy and temperature homeostasis
