The analysis of influence of functional mitral regurgitation in patients with severe aortic stenosis on surgical results is carried out. It is established that at the majority of patients mitral regurgitation 1-2 degrees regress before discharge. This category of patients does not require mitral valve correction. Presence accompanying mitral regurgitation essentially influences on surgical results in patients with systolic left ventricle dysfunction.
