The development of the theory of speech is considered as a process which is opposite to Ferdinand de Saussure's logic of search for the true subject of Linguistics. It is redirected from the language (langua) to the speech (parole) analysis and then to the varied and heterogeneous speech activity (langage) and its result a piece of speech. The definitions of style suggested by M.N.Kozhina and K.Hausenblas are compared. Synthesizing potential of the developed by M.N.Kozhina model of the scientific text content structure is explained. The notion of speech action as a language game is introduced into the conceptual field of the stylistic research
