Functional characteristics of respiratory muscles of sportsmen of various specializations and qualifications

It is shown, that to similarly skeletal muscles, respiratory muscles are subject to the certain functional specialization which is expressed in a various level of high-speed and speed-power parameters of their functional condition. This specialization is caused, probably, both the factor of selection, and process of adaptation of respiratory muscles to habitual specific activity. Direct dependence of functionalities of respiratory muscles on a degree of readiness of sportsmen is caused by increase of a level of long-term adaptation to specific activity - to the growth of skills.
