The dynamics of the functional status of lower limb muscles has been studied in patients with gonarthrosis in the process of stopping the myofascial pain syndrome. The analysis of electromyography results in patients treated with due account of the myofascial pain syndrome has demonstrated the authentic increase of the mean amplitude of voluntary bioelectric activity of the anterior group of femoral muscles on either side and that of the posterior group of leg muscles - on the left, thereby showing the recovery of adequate functional loading of lower limb muscles. On the whole, positive results of treatment were achieved in 85,7 % of cases (versus 48,6 % in control group).
