Functional capabilities of respiratory system of the sportsmen who are domiciled in the North

The examination of the respiratory system was carried out among 75 male students living in the North. The purpose was to determine the peculiarities of external respiratory function in individuals that not involved in sports and sportsmen with different areas of the training process. The key indicators of respiratory function were determined using the hardware-software complex «Spiro-Spectrum». We found that high physical activity of the cyclical nature in the North contributes to the economization of the function of the system of external breathing, but it may increase the risk of obstructive disorders development.
