Functional aspect of research of households

This article clarifies and supplements the classification of household functions, which is distinguished by a systematic approach, which made it possible to single out such groups of functions as external and internal, to clarify the content of managerial functions, to distinguish between the functions of family households and functions inherent in all households. It is noted that the functional approach is an important stage in the process of researching the essence of the category "household". It is concluded that the volume and quality of the functions performed will depend on the structure and composition of the household, external socio-economic conditions, income levels and other factors, and the production function of households comes to the fore in research.
