Functions of lexical semantic groups' components as a means of world's language map reconstruction

The article is devoted to contemporary approaches to investigation of language mapping of the world. We analyze a fragment of the world's language map that is registered in a lexical semantic group «movement in the stream or in the water area» and finds representation in regional newspapers published in 1938-1943 and 1998-2003. The results of the study lead to a conclusion about changeability of world perception in the mind of language users which is indirectly presented in the dynamic linguistic processes.
