Football as a phenomenon of social and political life in the modern world

This article deals with the interaction of football as a mass sport and a social phenomenon, the political sphere of society. It is analyzed a number of examples from the history and the present, proving the bilateral nature of this relationship. It shows the influence of the political situation, domestic and geopolitical processes in football - and on the contrary.
