Habitus as a "social body" of compulsion

In the article the specificity of habitus comprehension in the concept of P. Bourdieu is analyzed. The author reveals the irreplaceable role of this formation that consists in the legitimation transmission in the name of which the social order and social compulsion are carried out. The author pays special attention to the conditions, mechanisms and the opportunities of the social compulsion implemented by habitus.
