European gas infrastructure: development prospects in the conditions of reducing Russian supplies

The article gives an outlook of new gas infrastructure solutions ofEuropean countries, including LNG terminals, gas pipelines, development of new fields for further diversification of gas suppliers and gradual abandonment of Russian hydrocarbons. The main development trends are highlighted in terms of most large-scale projects in Western, Eastern, Northern and Southern Europe. The article analyzes the possibility of a complete rejection of Russian gas supplies in the short term and in the foreseeable future.
