Within the framework of this article, the authors analyze the problem of classical stereotypes associated with computer-game forms of leisure activities of children and adolescents. Based on the generalization of specific studies carried out by foreign scientists, a conclusion is made about the great pedagogical and socio-cultural potential of video games. However, the disclosure of this potential is impossible in full without a responsible approach to this problem by parents and teachers. The authors of the article offer specific recommendations for organizing video games.
