Gender and ethnicity: dialectics identification strategies

The article is devoted to the conflict between ethnic and gender forms of identity in the context of globalization and multiculturalism. It is shown that gender and ethno-cultural aspects of social existence form a complex system of mutual influence and that interaction of ethno-cultural and gender identities can be both complementary and conflictive.
