Resort vacation in the USSR: gender aspect

In the article the transformation of the image of a Soviet resort depending on ideological experiments of Soviet authorities is considered. Traditionally a resort was considered as space of freedom, including the gender aspect. The ideological component of resort vacation in the USSR was not distinctively formulated; the Soviet resort was perceived as a place of sexual freedom in accordance with pre-revolution patterns.
