Adolescence is one of the difficult periods of ontogenesis and is associated with changes in the sphere of consciousness, the system of relationships and human activities. Puberty begins, which plays a big role in adolescent behavior. Some commit deviant acts to gain the attention of their peers and become popular, some to satisfy interest, others in this way challenge society. new opportunities for studying the deviant behavior of adolescents can be obtained by studying the gender approach, which presupposes a way of cognizing reality, in which there is no «asexual view» of mental phenomena, and at the same time there is no «male» and «female». Then, the reason for committing deviant acts should be considered based on gender.
