Gender transformations in contemporary Russian society

The paper considers the movement of barriers between masculinity and femininity. Debatable questions of gender representations in the modern society are analyzed. Gender shifts in the economic and political spheres are discussed. The authors note the rapid development of female business in Russia, and explain that today the subject of economic activity must exercise promptly both feminine and masculine qualities. It is assumed that the successful political career can be achieved by a person manifesting predominantly masculine features.
