The article deals with the historical evaluation and rethinking of action General Andrei Vlasov, passed during the Second World War on the side of the Nazis and created on the territory of the Third Reich and the Russian Liberation Army Committee for the Liberation of the Peoples of Russia. Analyzes the long career of General, his service in the Red Army, including outside the USSR, objectively evaluated the role of General Vlasov in the initial stage of the war - the battle for Kiev, the battle for Moscow, to think critically about the reasons for the rapid military career A.A. Vlasov, excerpts from letters A.A. Vlasov addressed to the Nazi leadership in which General on behalf of the supposedly existed in the USSR, the opposition appealed to the leadership of the Third Reich of mutually beneficial cooperation, which would strengthen the influence of the continental powers of Europe as opposed to the US and the UK. Subjected to an objective analysis of multiple versions of accessory General A.A. Vlasov and General MF Lukin to the intelligence agencies of the USSR put forward by Russian and foreign researchers in recent years. The author draws on extensive documentary material published in the last decade in Russia and abroad. Is well-founded conclusion about the likelihood of the work of General Vlasov the Soviet military intelligence, which held a high-ranking general implementation of the operation, which had solid intelligence past behind enemy lines. Analogs of these operations were in the past - so-called "Operation Trust" as a result of which had been eliminated several prominent representatives of White emigre movement.
