Method ISSR-PCR analysis studied the genetic diversity and the detected level of genetic differentiation of populations in M. daubentonii and E. nilssonii, live in the Zhiguli Mountains. During the analysis revealed that populations of both species characterized by a high level of polymorphism. This genetic diversity, both for individual populations and for the total species of the sample as a whole was higher in E. nilssonii. For individual populations, which are wintering in different dungeons, confirmed by relative reproductive isolation. It is assumed that its violation is possible in the autumn period, when the animals are going to wintering grounds. At most, this violation should occur in E. nilssonii and less in M. daubentonii, as evidenced by higher levels of genetic differentiation between populations of the latter species. Discusses possible causes of reproductive isolation between populations.
