Genetic diversity of Picea abies in the north-eastern part of habitat area

The genetic diversity of european spruce growing in natural plantations in the Arkhangelsk and Kirov regions and Republic of Komi has been studied. Six loci were analyzed in six populations and showed 5 to 15 allele variants. In the population from the Komi Republic, we observed the largest allelic diversity and higher levels of heterozygosity among all the populations studied.
