Understanding these aspects correctly can help users become more aware of their interactions with the digital space and find healthy ways to use technology. The article is devoted to the analysis of the genesis of information addiction on the Internet, observed in the early 2020s. In the context of global changes caused by the COVID-19 pandemic and the transition to remote work and training, the time spent by users online has increased significantly.
