The strategy of introduction of east-asiatic subspecies of Raphanus sativus L. to North-Western region of Russia based on methodology of accelerated programmable selection in the conditions of regulable agroecosystems (RAES) was considered. The reaction of 35 varieties of daikon and lobe on day's length and action of low positive temperature was investigated. The varieties were selected which weakly react upon the action of either factor and hybrids F1 and F2 in RAES were obtained in complementary crossing combinations. During spring planting of F2 hybrids in open soil the author isolated the transgressive forms on edible root's size and bolting and also evaluated the inheritance of determinants of sensitivity to photoperiod and low positive temperature. As a result of breeding the high productive forms of daikon approaches linear and adapted to the effect of light-temperature stresses during spring period in North-Western region of Russia were obtained. The possibility of introduction of promising crops to either climatic zone on the basis of suggested approaches and developed techniques was discussed.
