Genrikh Sapgir and the Russian futurizm

In this article the author shows deep typological connections between new and “classic” vanguard poetry trends. Genrikh Sapgir is one of the most outstanding and original Russian poets of the turn of the century period. The poetry and prose of G. V. Sapgir display the essential traditions of Russian futurism, but also we can see the original poetic methodic based on the constructive dialogue with the creative experience of early vanguard literature.
