Geographical factors in the development of Siberia: discussion with American specialists in Russian language

The influence inherent in Siberia underlying geographical factors - the severity of the climate and landlocked macropodoidea on the development of the macroregion and the efficiency of the economy. Critical analysis of the relevant findings and recommendations of the American Russianists, who are politically motivated, threatening ultimately the security and integrity of Russia. The inconsistency of these findings and recommendations established through the use of quantitative estimates, showing the actual status of industrialization and the formation of territorial-production complexes of Siberia, efficiency and profitability of its economy, population processes in the post-Soviet stage. Deal with the issues of artificially lowering the official statistics of the contribution of modern Siberia in the main economic indicators of the country and lack a fatal influence of geographic factors on economic development.
