Geographical ideas of M.V. Lomonosov

The paper is based on the report of the author at the enlarged session of the Presidium of the Komi Science Centre, Ural Branch, RAS, on February 8, 2011, devoted to M.V.Lomonosovs 300th birth anniversary and to the Day of Science. The main ideas of M.V.Lomonosov in the field of integration of natural and social sciences most characteristic of geography are given. Influence of M.V.Lomonosovs doctrines on development of economic-geographical ideas on general problems of development and distribution of productive forces in Russia is shown.
