Geography of rural tourism development in the modern Russia

The article deals with specific features of rural tourism development in the modern Russia. The authors describe the main trends and the peculiarities of rural tourism development in Russia. Particular attention is paid to the development of rural tourism in those areas and regions of Russia, where the regional authorities provide various forms of support to the rural tourism, create and implement large-scale projects offering a wide range of rural tourism services.
