Within the framework of the theory of Eurasianism, Russia’s geographic features played a determinant role, mediating the cultural, historical, socio-economic development of the «Eurasian Continent». The author analyzes the geographic works by P.N. Savitsky, the leader of Eurasianism, his system of arguments for the geographic specifics of the «Eurasian world» and the place of his works in the ideology of Eurasianism in general.
