Geoinformation analysis of anthropogenically transformed territories in the north of the Astrakhan Volga region

A study of anthropogenically transformed territories in the north of the Astrakhan region was conducted. The dynamics of areas by land use categories from 2000 to 2020 according to GlobeLand data is analyzed. It was found out that in 2020 the share of highly transformed territories (residential, arable, pasture lands) in the study area is 81.4%. Over the past 20 years, the area of arable land has decreased, but the area of pasture land has increased.
