Geoefficiency of solar eruptive events

Sources of geomagnetic disturbances occurred during 1999-2003 period are discussed. The relation between geomagnetic activity and number of coronal mass ejections (CME), their parameters, and dynamics of solar photospheric magnetic fields is considered. It is shown that during reorganization of unipolar regions of the photospheric magnetic field, the number of CMEs increases, and their parameters change. Geomagnetic disturbance also increases at these periods.
