Geo-economic consequences of the Russian-Turkish gas agreements

The article analyzes the geo-economic consequences of the Russian-Turkish gas agreements. The author shows pros and cons of the agreements for both participating countries and third parties. Besides, the paper discusses the negative consequences of termination of the project “South Stream" for Bulgaria, as well as considers prospective cooperation, but not competition, of Azerbaijan and the Russian Federation in the development of the European gas market.
