Geocultural transformation of Slavic world

The article discusses geocultural possibilities of the state to realize its national interests, which largely depend on the beliefs of the world community. This is of particular importance in cases, when it comes to the States, a policy which to a greater or lesser extent affect the interests of the entire international community. If to speak about Russia, it becomes more and more evident her desire to regain the former lost ground in world politics, seeking to strengthen its role in global development and recovery status as a leading world power. Existing in international public opinion the image of Russia was formed during a complex process and influenced by several heterogeneous factors. So a sober assessment of Russia's role in the world involves understanding the mechanism of this process, clarification of forces involved, understanding all its strife and cultural and historical determinism.
