The geopolitical interests of Russia and the UAE in the Middle East region: main directions and priorities

The article provides a meaningful analysis of the main directions and priorities of the geopolitical interests of the Russian Federation and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) in the Middle East region. Special attention is paid to the historical retrospective of the formation of Russia's political influence in the Middle East - from the imperial and Soviet periods to the modern multi-vector strategy. The key foreign policy goals of the Russian Federation are analyzed, and the priorities of the UAE as a new regional center of power are considered.
