Geopolitical consequences of "Arab spring" for the Middle East region

This article identifies and analyzes the consequences of political events in recent years in the countries of the Middle East, identifies the main trends in the geopolitical situation in the region. One of the main consequences of NATO's implementation of its approaches to resolving the events of the "Arab Spring" was the "export of instability", which led to radical changes in the geopolitical situation in the Middle East region. The geopolitical configuration of the entire Middle East space has changed. There is a diffusion of territorial activities of individual states (Iraq, Libya, Syria). In the process of the Arab crisis, new ethnic (Kurdish) and territorial ("Islamic state") enclaves emerged. An increasing number of countries are involved in the conflict.
