Geo-political issues of modern Russia

The basic values of the modern world are living space and natural resources. Fight for them constitutes the essential principle of the international life. The most important regions for Russia owning to its geo-political position are Europe, Middle and Far East and South Asia. In the XXI century the long-term politics for this country must be solely based upon practical Russia's interests and needs and not on the mythical "interests of the world community".
