The paper focuses on the book “The Geopolitics of Emotion” by Dominique Moisi that is a source of inspiration for many published works. This innovative and provocative study looks at the subjectivity in geopolitics. At the same time, there are other ways of studying emotions as the subjective components of geopolitical processes. For example, a new interdisciplinary approach such as the geography of emotions presents the reliable findings free from personal projections. The author considers that the inclusion of emotions in the modern geopolitical studies is the result of the epistemological worldview development. The interaction of geopolitics, psychology and geography of emotions is fruitful for all these disciplines. The main directions of possible interdisciplinary relations are reviewed.
