Approaches to the modeling of the regional ecological conditions with an aid of the traditional geospace categories are described. The ecological framework of the region is the most appropriate model of the regional geoecological situation. The geoecological framework plays, in fact, the role of the basis for the regional ecological space. The integrity and the functional completeness of the regional ecological basis require the inclusion of the inverse basic node. The peculiarities of the nature and social life of the particular region determine the content of the mentioned ecological basis. The examples of the basic nodes, buffer zones and transit passages are given.
