GPR as a tool for solving mountain problems

The Article is devoted to the study of the geological and structural structure of the sculptural rock mass of the sections of the working ledges of the Zhelezny open pit of Kovdorsky GOK. The results of georadar studies of the composing ledge of the rock mass are presented. The paper deals with methodological issues of application of georadar sounding for the study of the internal structure of rocks. The approaches of using GPR for solving various mountain problems are proposed.
