Geosophy as a part of the theory of local civilizations

The theories of local civilizations are considered as an attempt to synthesize theo-, anthropo- and geosophic methods in the study of civilizations. The article proves the importance of geosophy in the theoretical schemes of O. Spengler and A. Toynbee despite the seeming contradiction between geosophy resources and Spengler’s methods of "fractal" cosmism or Toynbee’s dialectical vitalism.
