Festive life is considered as a time of honoring the heroes of society and as a way of glorifying representatives of society in accordance with the existing or imposed worldview; the phenomenon of the "collective hero" of the socialist era of Russia is revealed, the techniques of evening portraits of real heroes and the modern tendency to replace the heroes of the holiday with "heroized" pop stars are analyzed; determine the tendency to search for self-identi cation of dierent Russian regions using annual festive events in honor of eminent fellow countrymen; The problem of psychological and pedagogical expediency of using children's images and children's themes in modern mass holidays and performances is posed; underlines the urgent need of society for worldview solidarity during the festive life through public recognition and public demonstration of the true heroes of society
