Hygienic assessment of working conditions of workers in the mining industry in modern conditions

One of the most important factors in maintaining longevity in the mining industry is minimizing the risk of adverse effects of a complex of harmful production factors, scientific justification of medical and preventive measures in order to ensure safety and preserve health. The working conditions and indicators of thermal condition at mining enterprises were studied according to the data of domestic and foreign literature, the results of their own hygienic research. The analysis of working conditions at mining enterprises in modern conditions has shown that miners are exposed to a complex of harmful and dangerous production factors, one of the leading factors is the heating microclimate. Working in a warming microclimate can increase the risk of thermal stress for miners. A set of medical and preventive measures has been scientifically substantiated in order to ensure the safety and preserve the longevity of workers.
