Hypertension (HD) is a chronic disease, the main manifestation of which is the arterial hypertension syndrome. Arterial hypertension (AH), as defined by the WHO Committee of Experts, is a constantly elevated systolic and / or diastolic blood pressure (SBP and DBP, respectively). Hypertension is one of the most common diseases and occurs in 15-20% of the adult population. Hypertension shows a steady upward trend, which is associated with its belonging to the diseases of civilization, its negative aspects (increased pace of life, hypokinesia, constantly increasing flow of information, etc.).
