Patients with metabolic syndrome the concentration of uric acid in the blood significantly correlated with obesity parameters, indicators of insulin metabolism, triglitseridemii, glucose and the activity of the renin-angiotensin-aldosterone system. The level of uric acid 415 mmol / L or higher were significantly more frequent in patients with a clinical picture of "deadly quartet", than in those with hypertension without signs of insulin resistance. Hyperuricemia and metabolic syndrome occurred in parallel with the development of disorders of lipid metabolism and growing, with the progression of the metabolic syndrome. It was concluded that hyperuricemia is a metabolic disorder, insulin resistance syndrome inherent in, and asked to treat it as part of the metabolic syndrome.
