Hippocrates collection is the first extant collection of medical writings. This“encyclopedia of knowledge” has made an invaluable contribution to the development of medicine throughout the world. This article reveals the role of Hippocrates in creation of this work.It is explained why this work was so titled. The purpose of this article is to give detailed information about this collection of medical writings.
