Histiocytosis of Langerhans cells (GCR) is a disease with variable clinical presentation and biological behavior. A typical lesion is a cluster of Langerhans cells, interdigitating cells, macrophages, t-lymphocytes, a different number of giant multi-nuclear histiocytes and eosinophils. Due to the fact that Langerhans cells produce in excess of cytokines, growth factors may occur continuously-recurrent course of the disease with the defeat of various organs and tissues. The article describes a clinical case of histocytosis of Langerhans cells with multifocal lesions in a young child. Presented are clinical symptoms, laboratory and instrumental signs of the disease, treatment tactics. The attention of pediatricians, General practitioners and specialists to the early symptoms of the disease is drawn, as recovery depends on the timely verification of diagnosis and adequate therapy.
