Verbs of true-future time as means to express a modal meaning of opportunity in Russian national fairy tales

In the article a specific function of the aspectual and tense verbal forms is under study, they are regarded as implicit markers of modal meaning of possibility when used in true-future time forms in Russian national fairytales. The artistic function of grammatical ways to make modality explicit is given special attention.
