Globalization and spiritual security of the individual: issues and solutions

The article analyzes the actual problem of the spiritual security of the individual in the context of globalization. Based on the socio-philosophical analysis, the author noted the impact of globalization processes on the spiritual security of the individual. The author’s position is substantiated by the views of other scholars on certain aspects of the stated problem. The contents of the document defining the strategy of state provision of spiritual security of an individual are also analyzed. Benefits and drawbacks of globalization are identified. The systematization of global risks affecting the most important value orientations and interests of Russian society allowed to identify the main directions of state policy in the field of ensuring national security and substantiate the role of ethno-cultural values in ensuring the spiritual security of the individual. The study was conducted by the author on the basis of a generalization of the cultural and historical experience of one of the representatives of the North Caucasian peoples - the Chechens.
