The retrospective approach to data storage is characterized by high data authenticity, availability and survivability of history. This particular features are promising for use in future scalable long-lived systems for difficult changing conditions. The basic requests to the retrospective storage and possible sources of branching for the information structures are described. Recommendations are given for the choice of a global object identification system for a retrospective storage. (in Russian).
