The global scale of radioactive pollution of the environment, including agricultural land, occurred as a result of the accidents at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant and Fukushima 1. In this regard, the most important task was identified - to explore options for the return of radioactively contaminated farmland to produce products that can be used for food. Therefore, the relevance of research aimed at obtaining experimental material and making recommendations for farming in radioactively contaminated areas is beyond doubt. Six percent of the world's strawberry production is grown in Russia. The area under strawberries in our country is 33,8 thousand hectares and there is a tendency to increase it. The purpose of the work is to develop an agrotechnical technique for growing strawberries of the Alba variety on radioactively contaminated soil. The agricultural technique of growing berry crops is generally accepted for the Krasnodar territory. In the field, leached chernozem soil has an experience in which an agrotechnical technique is being studied to reduce the accumulation of 90Sr in strawberries. Based on the performed field studies, it was revealed that in the variant with the surface presence of radionuclide in the soil, the content of 90Sr in leaves, shoots and strawberries, respectively, is 7,6; 9,0 and 15,0 times higher than in the variant with the presence of radionuclide in the soil at a depth of 50 cm. Long-term studies have allowed us to determine the trend of a gradual increase in the content of 90Sr in all studied organs of the berry plant. Moreover, this process occurs most intensively in the variant with the surface presence of radionuclide on the soil. It was also found that strawberry leaves have the highest accumulation of this pollutant than shoots and berries.
