Female mountaineers' headdress as a tourist resource in the Republic of Dagestan

The headdress of different ethnic female mountaineers in the Republic of Dagestan is reviewed as a tourist resource that attracts both Russian and foreign tourists to the region. The handmade headdress allowed Dagestan peoples to reflect their individual history, ethnic and cultural style in the aesthetic view of life. The research emphasizes that wearing a headdress plays an important role in the ethnic culture of the region and relates to certain beliefs and magical views, the subordination of women in the family, the relevant religious beliefs. In conclusion, the author suggests that it is important to recreate the female headdress arts. It will preserve the Dagestan culture for next generations, create a positive image in the region, and reduce migration of rural residents to big cities in order to earn money, improve the financial well-being of local residents.
